CHILDREN'S NOISY OFFERING:
The first Sunday of the month is designated Good
Samaritan Sunday (Good Sam) The children's
noisy offering will go to support Blessed Hope Mission in
Lincoln Park. Non-perishable food and personal items
brought in are also taken to Blessed Hope to distribute
to the needy.
The third Sunday's noisy offering will be given to the
new FISH AND LOAVES Program in Taylor. The offering for the
remainder of the Sundays is designated to our Good
Samaritan Fund to help the needy of our area.
Thursdays SIT DOWN EXERCISE CLASS 10:00-10:30A.M. In the Adult
Sunday School room. Join the "fun" and fellowship.

SEPT. 27 TURKEYVILLE We will leave the church at 9:30 a.m. Dinner is
at noon. the play, "The Church Basement Ladies." starts at

SEPT. 28 COVENENT PLAYERS/POT LUCK The covenant player from Ohio, will
once again be with us to bring their ministry done in the
form of gospel inspired skits both during the service and
also during the pot luck following.
OCT. 4 ILCW B'fst 8:30am Denny's, Eureka Rd. Taylor
BLESSING OF OUR PETS1:00 P.M. Bring dogs, cats, rabbits,
gerbils, hamsters, lizards etc. for a blessing. Children who
do not have a pet can bring a stuffed animal for a blessing.
Invite your friends and neighbors. There will be treats for
the animals and refreshments for the people.
OCT. 7 SECRET PAL REVEALING DINNER: 6:00 p.m.at the Sportsmen's den
Sibley Road, Riverview. New members to the program are
welcome to join the fellowship as well. Sue Mercatante has
new sheets available. Please have them completed and
returned by Oct. 5.
OCT. 25 WINDSOR WINE TOUR Cost: $15.00 We will leave the church at
at 10:30 a.m.. Have lunch, tour Pelee Island Winer, then go
through the fields to Erie Shore for tasting only. Hopefully
we can stop at two new winery's that are beautiful. Lunch and
wine are on your own. You will need a passport or your birth
certificate and picture I.D. The drinking age in Canada is 19
so our young people can participate. Reservations and money
both due no later than Oct. 19.
NOV, 13 DINING TO DONATE enjoy lunch or dinner at Applebee's 13855
Eureka Road, southgate and Immanuel receives 15% of your
dinner price as a donation. The donations will help defray
the cost of Immanuel's Fellowshop Committee bus costs. You
will need to bring a flyer, which will be available at Im-
manuel soon.
